Storeperson/Forklift Operator
New World Gardens
We are looking for a full-time Storeperson/Forklift Operator to join our team at New World Gardens with potential to pick up additional shifts within our Grocery Department.
Are you reliable, enjoy being busy, enjoy working within a team environment but equally can work on your own, this could be the job for you.
Key tasks:
- Operating a forklift in a safe and responsible manner
- Unloading trucks, transferring stock to cages & working through picklists
- Goods receipting and scanning in orders
- Maintaining records and following Health & Safety guidelines
- Maintaining a tidy and well-organised storeroom and inward goods area
- Ensuring a safe environment for staff and delivery personnel
Our ideal Storeperson would be able to :
- Provide a high standard of customer service
- Ideally hold a current Forklift License but will provide training to the right candidate
- Inward goods and storeroom experience
- Physically fit and heavy lifting experience
- Reliable, organized and have a can-do attitude
