We are looking for a Service Deli 2IC to join our Service Deli team. This is suited to someone that is committed to providing a consistent range of fresh, quality food and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. 

 Key Responsibilities Include:

• Assisting the Service Deli Manager with planning and organising the day-to-day operation of the department
• Assisting the Service Deli Manager to effectively manage, lead and support the Service Deli team
• Stock production, ordering, receiving and stocktaking
• Commitment to providing an exceptional customer experience through customer service and keeping up to date with product knowledge
• Ensure our Food and Health and Safety programs are being adhered to

Qualifications/Skills required:

• Experience in a management or supervisory role in a supermarket or retail environment
• NZ Food Safety Qualifications (NZQA Unit Standard 167 and 168)
• Practical experience working with fresh food production
• Solid computer and written skills 
• Well-developed time-management skills
• Sound problem solving and decision making skills
• High level of initiative and commitment

This is a permanent full-time role, 40 hours per week:

Sunday - Thursday
