New World Stanmore is a great community supermarket in the heart of Christchurch. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Duty Manager to join our awesome Grocery team.
SENIOR DUTY MANAGER – 42.5 HOURS PER WEEK
This permanent full-time position will require you to take charge of receiving stock and getting the shelves filled. You will have strong attention to detail and presentation skills, and be able to identify gaps and get them filled efficiently. This is a Tuesday to Saturday roster, afternoon/evening shifts.
You will ideally have the following skills and experience:
- Current forklift certificate
- 2 years’ experience in a supermarket, preferably in a dry goods environment
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Great customer service
- Must be a team player with good communication skills
- Must be physically fit to handle the demands of the job
- Must be a vibrant, energetic role model, who is honest and hardworking
