Seafood Supervisor – New World Rangiora

Permanent Full Time

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic person to run our Seafood department reporting into the Service deli / Seafood manager.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a very successful team who produce a wide range of products each day for our loyal and supportive customers.

The responsibilities of the position include:

  • Merchandising fresh seafood products in the displays
  • Procurement of fresh seafood on required days
  • Achieving financial and presentation goals 
  • Delivering excellent customer service including serving customers from the Deli, Butchery and Seafood cabinets
  • Adhering to our food safety and health and safety rules
  • Cleaning of all areas of the department

Personal attributes required are:

  • Good communication skills 
  • Ability to work well with a team 
  • Ability to multi-task and complete tasks within the required timeframes
  • A positive work ethic and attitude

Experience is not necessary but a passion for Seafood and a willingness to learn would make you the ideal candidate.

The role is Full Time working 40 hours. 

The days are Tuesday to Saturday 7:00am – 3:30pm
