SAP Inventory Manager - PAK'nSAVE Invercargill

Inventory management is a critical part of our business and having capable, competent, meticulous, and numerically focused staff within this team is paramount to the smooth operation of the overall store.
Pak’nSave Invercargill are seeking a SAP Inventory Manager to assist in cyclical stocktaking and stocktake management within our store. We require an individual to assist in the creating and counting in stocktakes, as well as the leadership of a stocktake team.
We cyclically stocktake the store twice over the financial year, generally performing stocktakes on one section of the store per week. These stocktakes ensure the accuracy of our computer systems, ultimately leading to the accurate replenishment of our grocery shelves and the satisfaction of our valued customers.
In addition to the inventory management, there is an operational requirement to assist the Grocery & Morning Fill teams with the presentation of the store. This includes Forklift / Reach Truck work & general Grocery department duties.
The individual will need to be flexible in their work, stocktakes are generally run outside of normal operating hours, usually Tuesday mornings, 6am-10am and again on Tuesday nights 8:30pm – 10:15pm (Times can vary). Additional hours of analysis and grocery retail are involved in this role also, these hours to be discussed at time of interview.
Key skills and attributes required to be successful in this role are:
- SAP Experience
- Grocery product knowledge
- Experience in managing cyclical stocktaking
- Experience with Inventory Management
- High levels of computer literacy
- Forklift / Ride on Reach truck experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- High levels of numeracy and literary skills
- Physical fitness – Able to repeatedly lift up to 20kg
- Retail experience
- Technologically savvy – SAP system, PC, HHT Handheld experience, Excel
- Positive Attitude
- High degree of flexibility
This position is full time, 40 hours per week. Hours of work start from 6am.
