QUALIFIED BAKER
We are a busy Christchurch Supermarket looking for a qualified baker to join our busy Bakery team. Our team is looking for someone who can produce high-quality products to Riccarton PAK’nSAVE standards. We value great communication, teamwork, and reliability.
Essential Requirements
Bakery Trade Qualification (e.g., NZ Certificate in Baking [Level 4] or equivalent)
Alternatives: At least one year's industry experience in a commercial bakery
- Strong commitment and good work ethic
- Excellent customer service skills
- Reliable and honest
- Ability to thrive in a busy work environment
- Medium to high level of physical fitness
- Well-developed time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Duties Include:
- Production of doughs
- Product preparation
- Bread making, traying up, baking off, and other varied duties
- Adhere to all Food Safety and Health and Safety standards
This is a full-time position and will include at least one weekend day with shifts starting at 3am. (Days and times to be confirmed in interview)
This role would suit someone who can work well both in a team as well as independently at times.
