Produce Manager

New World Three Parks is looking for a Retail Professional who is driven to excel in the day to day running our Produce Department. Our Produce Department thrives on delivering the best quality and freshness of produce to our local community. We are looking for someone who has a proven track record in delivering outstanding results in a retail fresh food environment.

The ideal candidate should be an outstanding communicator, has experience effectively managing people, driven by helping people exceed their expectations and driving an exceptional team culture. 

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Have experience/knowledge of ordering and optimising stock holding levels and returns, control all department costs.
  • Maintain 100% price integrity in the department
  • Has excellent computer skills.
  • The achievement of Sales, Gross Profit and Wage budgets
  • Excellent customer service
  • Managing operations and production to meet customers’ requirements
  • Maintaining Article data in SAP
  • Ensuring the highest standards of merchandising are achieved
  • Maintaining our Health & Safety, and Food Safety standards within your department

The successful applicant will have:

  • Have the ambition to be an inspiring and effective leader
  • Have an understanding of financial KPI’s
  • Strong communication skills at all levels of the organisation
  • Initiative and an eye for detail
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Produce 2IC or a Management Role in Retail.
  • Minimum 1 year's experience in SAP Ordering.

Hours:

  • Full-time 
  • Days and hours to be discussed at interview but will include one weekend day and early starts. 

Pay:

  • $30-$36 per hour
