Part-time Duty Manager - New World Ilam

We have opportunity to join our fantastic team at New World Ilam as a Duty Manager. 

We are seeking applications from an individual who will have a commitment to excellence along with strong organisational and communication skills.  They will also display high presentation standards, honesty and an excellent work ethic.

The Duty Manager is responsible for the supervision of the store, leadership of the grocery team and ensuring consistent stock presentation during the afternoon until closing. A Liquor Licence (Managers Certificate) and supermarket experience would be advantageous. 

The key tasks for this role are:

• Ensuring all departments maintain appropriate store display standards
• Providing high quality customer service to our valued customers
• Organisation of the grocery team and storeroom
• Maintaining stock levels in the grocery department
• Undertake necessary administrative functions of the role
• Maintain health and safety and food safety standards

The successful applicant will ideally be able to demonstrate:

• Team leadership experience 
• Proven supervisory experience and the ability to manage a team
• Effective communication skills
• Flexibility
• A strong work ethic and the ability to cope well under pressure
• A forklift licence or the ability to obtain a licence

This is a part-time permanent position working Friday and Saturday 1.45pm-10.15pm (16 hours).
