About the Role

As a Nightfill Supervisor, you will play a key role in leading our Nightfill team to achieve outstanding stock presentation, efficient replenishment, and a safe working environment. You will work closely with the Merchandising Manager and fellow supervisors to ensure the store is ready for the next day's trade.

This is a physically active role that requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

What You'll Be Responsible For

  • Supervising and supporting the Nightfill team
  • Driving excellent stock presentation and merchandising standards
  • Ensuring correct stock rotation and safe stock handling practices
  • Promoting loss prevention awareness across the team
  • Monitoring and maintaining Workplace Health & Safety compliance
  • Completing administration tasks including absence reporting and training sign-offs
  • Ensuring company policies and procedures are consistently followed
  • Assisting with cleaning duties and working at heights using ladders when required
  • Supporting the team to meet productivity targets and deadlines

  • Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 20kg
  • Organised with strong attention to detail
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Committed to maintaining high standards and leading by example

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months' experience in retail (supermarket experience preferred)
  • Minimum 1 year's experience in a supervisory or sole-charge role overseeing 20+ staff
  • Current Forklift and Reach Truck Licence
  • Strong understanding of health and safety practices
  • Ability to work collaboratively with management and team members

Hours of Work

Sunday to Thursday

8:30pm – 6:30am

Eligibility

Applicants must be either:

  • A New Zealand Resident, or
