This is a hands-on role assisting with promotional planning, buying, and maintaining high standards of merchandising and presentation. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the daily operations of the liquor, chilled and frozen departments
- Maintaining high standards of product presentation and merchandising
- Upholding all Food Health & Safety requirements
- Assist with stock ordering, inventory control, and minimising waste
- Driving sales while achieving gross profit and wage budgets
- Delivering exceptional customer service and satisfaction
- Identifying opportunities to grow and innovate within the departments
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
Qualifications:
- Previous supervisor or management role preferred.
- Experience with SAP.
- Strong knowledge of the Sale of Liquor Act and other regulations.
- Forklift / Reach truck experience preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- General knowledge of wine and beer would be advantageous.

This is a full-time role Tuesday to Saturday, afternoons and early evening hours.
