HR Administrator - Foodstuffs South Island

Our Foodstuffs South Island (FSSI) Cooperative includes our Service Centre in Papanui, our Distribution Centres in Hornby and Dunedin and our members PAK’nSAVE, New World, Four Square, Henry’s, Raeward Fresh, On the Spot, and Trents.  Together we operate a wholesale and retail network focused on our mission to Feed the South Island.

We are currently implementing a human capital management system and key people in our team are being seconded to work on this project fulltime.  This means we require fixed-term resource to backfill key roles in our team.   Reporting to our HR Manager, we are currently looking for an HR Administrator to join our team for a 12 month term.

You will be responsible for managing the administration for the Human Resources team.  This includes preparing employment documentation, recruitment and onboarding administration and supporting the Foodstuffs nutritional education programme, Food for Thought.

To be successful in this role you will be a quick learner, well organised, and accurate.  A committed member of the team, you will have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong focus on using technology to lift your own and other’s performance.  You will be confident in the Microsoft suite of software and be competent putting together presentations

Previous experience working in an HR role is preferred, but not essential.  A broad understanding of employment legislation is required.  This is a busy role.  Working hours are negotiable.
