Essential Skills/Qualifications:

• A minimum of three years’ experience in a management or supervisory role in a supermarket or retail environment
• Well-developed time management skills
• Well-developed organisational skills
• SAP Experience
• Computer skills/knowledge and excel experience
• High level of communication, initiative and commitment
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to motivate, lead and manage others.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meeting company objectives for the department including sales & profit targets
• Managing rosters and staff levels within set targets
• Managing the presentation of the Grocery department
• Regular inventory and stock control
• Dealing with suppliers on a regular basis and maintaining relationships
• Working closely with the senior management team to achieve KPI targets
