Grocery Assistants – Part Time

We are looking for two new reliable and responsible team members that can work efficiently with excellent customer services skills who are keen to join our team as Grocery Assistants. 

You will be working with a committed and motivated team who prides themselves on the quality produce and excellent service we offer our customers here at New World Mosgiel.

Hours of work:

Saturday 7:00am – 3:30pm

8 hours per week total

Your main duties will include:

• Providing excellent customer service and assisting with customer enquiries
• Shelf filling
• Ensuring shelves and displays meet required presentation standards
• Date checking and stock rotation
• Assist with all other duties that form part of the Grocery department
• Cleaning
• Maintaining Health & Safety and Food Safety standards at all times

• Be able to work unsupervised
• Passion for customer service
• High presentation standards and good attention to detail
• Be reliable
• Have a good work ethic
• Enjoy being busy and able to work well under pressure
• Be able to work at least one weekend day
• Flexibility to work extra shifts when required
• Work well in a team environment
• Physically fit as there is repetitive heavy lifting involved

Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not necessary as full training will be given for the right candidate.
