With more than 230 stores across the country, we can keep our customers stocked up with a range of groceries, locally sourced products, fresh produce, meat, chilled beer and wines, and a friendly smile!

Four Square Arrowtown is looking for a confident person with an eye for detail, and retail experience (ideally in the same industry), to join our awesome busy team as a Grocery Assistant.

What we are looking for:

• Be physically fit and capable as this is an active role. 
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment - this is crucial as we are a small busy team.

You will need to have experience in the following:

Be a strong relationship builder and communicator and effective team player. A passion for excellent customer service and taking care of our community. Someone who likes to be busy and takes pride in their work. A person who thrives under pressure and has a flexible can-do attitude. This role also involves basic food prep so we need someone who feels comfortable to do this. The successful applicant will also need to have previous experience supervising and or a natural ability to lead as we will need them to work towards this, and gain their LCQ certificate which we will facilitate. 

Hours: Wednesday to Sunday Full time- please note this is ideally a long term role.

We are not an Accredited Employer so applicants must have the current right to work in NZ. Overseas applicants must hold New Zealand citizenship, New Zealand Permanent Residency or a Valid New Zealand Work Permit. The role requires the ability to get to Arrowtown.
