Fresh Foods Assistant - Bakery

We are looking for people with a passion for food preparation to work in our Bakery department.

In our Bakery our rosters are fixed, so you’ll know what days you’ll work each week and that you’ll be working 9 hours per day, 45 hours per week.

The ideal candidate will be:

Someone with previous experience working in a bakery
Physically fit and able to lift reasonably heavy items
A team player with the ability to assist colleagues as well as work independently
Attentive to detail and committed to providing an excellent experience for our customers
Reliable
Available to work weekends and early morning starts.

Key responsibilities of these positions include, but are not limited to:

Preparing, packing and presenting products ready for sale
Maintaining stock levels in cabinets and retail spaces and ensuring all products on display are excellent quality
Providing a high level of customer service and assisting customers
Compliance with our Health and Safety and Food Safety programme.
