We are seeking positive, engaging and driven individuals to join our customer-focused team as we build for a busy year. Our Fresh Foods Assistants play a vital part in our team, ensuring our customers have access to our premium range in an appealing, engaging and organised setting. About the role

We’re offering FULL TIME, PERMANENT roles in our Bakery, Butchery, Produce, and Service Deli teams.

These roles are perfect for individuals who have a passion for food and are looking to start or pivot their career into Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG). By displaying an ambition towards personal development and a drive to achieve great things, these roles can provide the pathway towards career progression as a Buyer, People Leader, Fresh Foods Manager and even provide a pathway to store ownership.

Key responsibilities

· Merchandise the retail shop, ensuring our customers can get “what they want, when they want”.

· Produce a wide range of high-quality, premium products.

· Develop and introduce innovative food products to our offering.

· Deliver on the excellent customer New World is renowned for.

Hours

FULL TIME hours, specific hours to be discussed at the interview stage. New World Centre City operates from 07:30am – 10:00pm, 7 days a week, shift patterns will include a weekend day.

About you

· No prior experience necessary – we will provide you with comprehensive training to set you up for success.

· A passion for a career in Food, FMCG retail, and delivering on great customer service.

· Strong time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

· Hardworking, reliable and eager to contribute to the success of the team.
