Forklift Operator / Grocery Assistant

We are looking for a full-time Forklift/Grocery Assistant to join our team at New World Gardens.  This is a varied role that combines responsibilities within our storeroom and on the retail floor within our Grocery Department.

Are you reliable, enjoy being busy, enjoy working within a team environment but equally can work on your own, this could be the job for you.

Key attributes required: 

• Be able to operate a forklift in a safe and responsible manner 
• Help the team to maintain a tidy and well-organised storeroom
• Ensures a safe environment for staff and delivery personnel
• Provides a high standard of customer service
• Able to comply with Food & Workplace Safety Practices

Our ideal person would be able to :

• Provide a high standard of customer service
• Hold a current Forklift License (not essential) however experience operating a forklift is a must
• Physically fit with heavy lifting experience
• Shows strong attention to detail
• Reliable, organized and has a can-do attitude 
• Has a friendly, positive attitude
• Excellent communicator and a real team player
