Duty Manager (Part-time)

Exciting Opportunity: Evening Duty Manager at Bishopdale New World!

Are you ready to step up and lead in a fast-paced, rewarding role? Join the awesome crew at Bishopdale New World—better known as "The Bish!" We’re on the lookout for a reliable and energetic Duty Manager to take charge during our evening shifts and keep things running smoothly across the store.

If you're a natural leader, love being hands-on and know how to keep a team buzzing while ensuring customers walk away happy, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Running the Show: Take responsibility for the store after department managers head home for the day. You’ll be the go-to person in charge.
• Team Leader Vibes: Lead and support the night dry goods crew to keep things running like clockwork.
• Customer Champion: Make sure every customer is looked after, and any issues are sorted using sound judgment and a cool head.
• Multi-Tasking Star: From helping work stock trolleys and assisting checkouts to supporting fresh foods and keeping shelves faced—you’ll do it all!
• Store Standards: Maintain store compliance and safety throughout the night.
• Bonus: Forklift experience? Even better!

Hours:

• Thursday: 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM
• Friday: 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM
• Sunday: 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM

Plus the ability to pick up extra hours via our workforce app when available.

• Great Communicator: You know how to keep things clear, friendly and effective with both customers and teammates.
• Customer-Focused: You care about the experience our customers have—every single time.
• Versatile & Hands-On: You’re not afraid to jump in and help out.
• Forklift Certified (or keen to learn): A current licence is a big plus, but we may offer training for the right fit.
