Dry Goods Buyer - PAK'nSAVE Rangiora

At PAK’nSAVE Rangiora, we’re on the hunt for a driven and strategic Dry Goods Buyer to secure the best products at unbeatable prices across our Dry Goods, Liquor, Chilled, Frozen, and General Merchandise departments.
What You’ll Do:
- Negotiate Top Deals: Work directly with suppliers to lock in sharp prices and exclusive promotions.
- Drive Profitability: Keep our pricing competitive while maintaining strong margins.
- Optimize Selection: Ensure the right products are available at the right time, offering great value to our customers.
- Stay Ahead of Trends: Track industry shifts and customer demand to make smart buying decisions.
- Collaborate on Promotions: Team up with reps and merchandisers to bring standout weekly specials and promotions to life.
What We’re Looking For:
- A skilled Negotiator who thrives on securing the best prices.
- Retail or Buying Experience in purchasing, stock management, or supermarket operations is a plus.
- Attention to Detail to ensure pricing accuracy and stock integrity.
- Analytical Thinking to spot trends and make informed decisions.
- A Proactive Team Player with strong organizational skills and a collaborative mindset.
Role Details: Full-time: 45 hours per week Tuesday to Saturday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Reporting to the Head Dry Goods Buyer
