PAK’nSAVE Blenheim is looking for an experienced Dry Goods Buyer to join our dynamic Dry Goods team and play a key role in the curating and managing our dry goods department.

We seek a dedicated individual with a strong commitment to excellence, excellent organisational and communication skills, and a high level of integrity and work ethic. The ideal candidate will thrive in a high-performing team environment and understand the importance of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with sales representatives and merchandisers.
  • Source, select, and purchase high-quality Drygoods, ensuring variety, value and customer satisfaction
  • Maintaining stock control and inventory management.
  • Managing financial calculations and budgets.
  • Upholding store presentation and operational standards.
  • Passion for delivering quality products and enhancing the customer experience
  • The Dry Goods Buyer will report to the Commercial Manager and work alongside another Dry Goods Buyer.

About You:

  • Analyse sales trends to anticipate customer needs and adjust buying strategies
  • Proven experience in Dry goods buying, purchasing, or category management (supermarket or retail preferred)
  • Planning and organising promotional displays and space management.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Passion for delivering quality products and enhancing the customer experience
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Has experience in stock management, budgeting, and liaising with suppliers.
  • Is self-motivated, well-organised, and has strong problem-solving skills.

Work Schedule:

Full-time role – 45 hours per week

Sunday to Thursday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
