Dairy Supervisor – New World Wanaka

An exciting opportunity now exists within our Supermarket operation for a full time Dairy Supervisor. 

New World Wanaka is 100% locally owned and located just a hop, skip and jump from Wanaka’s Lake edge right in the middle of town.  We are seeking an individual who is passionate about customer service and who thrives working in a fast-paced environment.   

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, self-motivated, with high integrity, an eye for detail and a desire to learn while providing excellent customer service to our many locals and tourists.

Key requirements include:

• NZ Register Level 2 or 3 Qualification or at least one year of relevant supermarket experience.

• Proven leadership & organisational skills
• Communication skills across all levels
• A dedication to customer service excellence
• Physically fit and healthy as some heavy lifting will be required
• Familiar with standards, concepts, practices and procedures within a retail environment
• Can think on our feet and be adaptable
• Computer literacy MS Office, SAP, Outlook, etc.
  

Key tasks include:

• Helping to plan and prepare team schedules and task allocation
• Ensuring our customers receive prompt and quality customer service
• Helping with stocktake and maintaining appropriate stock levels
  
• Ensuring Dairy products are correctly priced and displayed
• Rotating stock and checking dates daily
• Ensuring Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures are followed

This is a permanent full-time position reporting to the Chilled & Frozen Manager.  Remuneration will be between $28.00 and $30.00 per hour with a guaranteed minimum of 37.5 hours per week. Location: Wanaka, Otago. We are an Immigration Accredited employer.
