Dairy / Frozen Manager - New World Queenstown
We’re looking for a full-time Dairy/Frozen Manager to join our fantastic team in the beautiful Queenstown Lakes district of Otago to plan, organise and lead the day-to-day operations of the Dairy/Frozen department, ensuring top range, customer service and consistency.
This is an exciting opportunity as we move through an extensive refurbishment of the store getting all new Chillers and Freezers so this will be an exciting project to be a part of and will lead to working in a brand-new department. Key responsibilities
- Ordering and receiving stock, regularly assessing the range to ensure it meets customer needs
- Creating and applying purchasing, marketing and pricing strategies
- Leading, supervising and training team members in the Dairy/Frozen department
- Ensuring Health & Safety regulations are followed
- Handling the budget for the department
- Providing excellent customer service and advice to customers
Hours
- Days of work are flexible but must work on Sunday/Monday
- 40-45hours
About you
- Supervisory or Management experience is preferred from any retail industry
