Customer Service Manager - New World Waimate


Are you a dynamic leader and passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences? We’re seeking an experienced People Leader to join our team and lead our front-line operations!

About the Role

As our Customer Services Manager, you’ll shape the customer experience while leading from the front and developing a diverse team across checkouts, customer service, lotto and our in-store café.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire our team through effective coaching, training and performance management.
  • Manage all aspects of front-line operations, including staff scheduling, resource allocation and efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement in customer service delivery, team performance and culture through proactive monitoring and feedback.

What You’ll Bring

  • 1+ years’ experience in management with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Outstanding leadership abilities and passion for coaching, developing and motivating teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to make sound decisions and solve problems effectively.
  • Experience in staff scheduling,
  • Liquor Controllers Qualification and Duty Managers License, or willingness/ability to acquire.
