Checkout Supervisor – Part-Time

We have an exciting part-time opportunity for a passionate, energetic and customer-driven Checkout Supervisor to join our amazing Checkout team. This is a permanent part-time position where leadership or supervisory experience is essential.
Days and hours of the role as below:
Monday 6:30am-2:30pm, Wednesday 6:30am-2:30pm and Sunday 6:30am-2:30pm

Your day-to-day:
- Delivering outstanding customer service and resolving customer issues
- Working with the Checkout Managers and other Supervisors to lead the Checkout team including providing feedback, coaching, training and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Checkout department
- Completing varying tasks which may include checkout operating, packing, managing Self-Checkout lanes and Shop n Go, click and collect, lotto, cleaning and trolleys
- Being in sole charge of the Checkout department and being responsible for opening and closing the Checkout department as required
What we need from you:
- At least 1-year experience in a customer service role in a position with responsibility, people management or a Supervisory role
- A commitment to excellent customer service
- The ability to work in a busy environment effectively
- Great communication, leadership, and team-building skills
- Fantastic organization and resilience
- Holding a current LCQ and Duty Manager’s Certificate
