Checkout Operator / Supervisor


Gilmours Central is a New Zealand owned and operated wholesale food supplier.

  • Do you hold or have the ability to obtain a Managers Licence?


    If so, then this may be the job for you! 


    We are looking for a customer service focused person to join our Checkout team, who can happily meet the above requirements. 

    Your main duties will include providing top quality service to our valued customers, handling of monies, assistance with the general maintenance of the Checkout area and Merchandising.


    You will also be providing backup to our Checkout Supervisors and covering Supervisory duties in their absence.


    We have a permanent position available with hours ranging from 30 – 40 hours per week with flexibility to cover extra shifts as required. Please note that you must be available to work weekends and have reliable transport.


The successful applicant must be honest, display excellent communication skills, be well presented, have an excellent work ethic and a great sense of humour.

The days and hours are varied and will be discussed if you are required for an interview.
