This is a permanent Full-Time position which includes a weekend shift. Some very early starts and late finishes will be required.
We are looking for the perfect person to lead our successful Butchery team at St Martins New World and consistently deliver high standards.
The successful applicant should be able to plan, organise, lead and control the day-to-day operations of the Butchery Department. The applicant will have experience in this area having worked within a supermarket type environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring standards of merchandising are achieved and maintained.
- The implementation of Food Health & Safety requirements.
- The effective utilisation of the department’s personnel resources
- Stock ordering to meet the stores requirements
- Monitoring Waste control.
- The achievement of sales, gross profit and wage budgets
- Meeting the Stores standards in Customer services.
- Inventory control and Handling
- Efficient, effective stock control while minimising out of stocks.
This position will suit a person with experience looking to use their ideas and creativity to further develop the department.
