New World Lincoln is on the lookout for a skilled and motivated Butchery Assistant Manager to be a big part of our butchery department. In this hands-on leadership role, you'll be responsible for maintaining top-quality standards, assisting with managing inventory and procurement, and guiding a dedicated team to deliver a stand out department, keeping our shelves looking fresh and inviting.

Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the Butchery Manager in the daily operations of the department
- Ensure high standards of product quality and presentation
- Assisting in ordering, production, waste reduction and profitability
- Train, support, and motivate butchery staff
- Ensure compliance with food safety and health & safety regulations
- Managing the department in the absence of the Manager

About You
- Retail butchery and leadership experience
- Experience with stock management and ordering
- Strong leadership and team motivation skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- A keen eye for quality and a passion for fresh food
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices

Working Hours
This is a full-time role, 5 days a week, Tuesday - Saturday, with some flexibility depending on business needs.
