BUTCHERY AND SEAFOOD MANAGER
New World St Martins is a leading provider of fresh food and grocery products, committed to delivering exceptional quality and customer service. This is a rare opportunity to lead one of Christchurch’s flagship stores as our new Butchery and Seafood Manager.
This is a hands-on role including promotional planning, buying, cutting and maintaining high standards of merchandising and presentation. Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the daily operations of the butchery and seafood departments
- Maintaining high standards of product presentation and merchandising
- Upholding all Food Health & Safety requirements
- Coordinate the butchery and Seafood teams
- Stock ordering, inventory control, and minimising waste
- Driving sales while achieving gross profit and wage budgets
- Delivering exceptional customer service and satisfaction
- Identifying opportunities to grow and innovate within the department
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
Qualifications:
- Butchery qualification with previous supervisor or management role preferred.
- Experience with SAP.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
