BAKERY APPRENTICE

Are you ready to rise to the occasion! We have an excellent opportunity for someone to start their apprentice journey as a Bakery Apprentice!!!  We’re committed to supporting the successful applicant through apprenticeship, completing The New Zealand Certificate in Baking Level 4.  You’ll train alongside a skilled supportive team who are dedicated to helping you successfully complete your baker apprenticeship. 

This role is all about dough production.  Mixing it, shaping it, baking it, and making sure our shelves are stocked with the breads our customers can’t resist. You will learn scratch baking our daily bread and sweet products, baking, icing and decorating cakes, and help prep and plan for the following day so everything runs smoothly.

• Motivated and reliable with an excellent work ethic
• Someone who listens, follows directions and is keen to learn
• Will keep the bakery area clean, organised and sanitised according to company policies.   

This is a permanent full–time position, the exact hours and days will be discussed at interview stage and will include one weekend day.
