An exciting opportunity currently exists for an experienced Baker in all aspects of Bakery production with both dough and sweet skill sets at New World Rolleston.

This role offers a great team and store culture, full training, and a commitment to ongoing training and learning within a fantastic team. This is a great opportunity to come and work at an outstanding supermarket and in an industry with great job security and stability. 

Your day-to-day:

• Following recipes to produce amazing-looking products 
• Working quickly and efficiently while managing your own workload
• Being part of a team to achieve daily tasks and communicating with the rest of the team
• Having excellent food safety and health and safety processes
• Using initiative to prioritise tasks and plan your day
• Sharing new ideas for products or processes 

What we need from you:

• Experience working in a Bakery or Bakery environment
• A passion for baking and producing high-quality products
• A good understanding of the baking industry
• Commitment to the work and a high degree of reliability 
• Some flexibility to occasionally work extra shifts over and above your core hours
• Good physical fitness for lifting and operating equipment
• Great presentation skills and attention to detail

Days and hours will be discussed at the interview - will include one weekend day.
