This position is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated, positive and experienced baker who would enjoy the challenges of supermarket bakery retailing.

This is a full time position, working 45 hours per week in a small and fantastic team. The days and hours of work will be discussed with the successful applicant, but include early starts and weekend work.

This is what you will need:

A Bakery Qualification of Level 3 or higher or extensive experience in a bakery is essential
Having the right can do attitude to positively contribute to the team

The ideal candidate will be:

An excellent communicator who develops relationships and fosters teamwork.

Willing to learn new skills and able to work independently.

Key responsibilities of this position include:

Ensuring our bakery department provides a superior level of customer service.
Preparing and baking dough, specialty breads, muffins, cakes and other bakery items on a large scale.
Presenting and merchandising the department to a high standard.
Assisting with all other duties that form part of the bakery operation, including packaging and presentation of products
Maintaining clean and tidy work areas
A commitment to our Health & Safety and Food Safety Standards.
