Assistant Checkout Manager- New World Prestons

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Ensure checkout, café and lotto provide an enhanced customer service experience 
  • Assist the Checkout Manager to train, motivate and coach your team to meet our high store standards and the department KPIs
  • Maintain high presentation standards at the checkout and ensure adherence to Food Safety and Health and Safety processes

The successful candidate will have:

  • A strong customer service orientation
  • Relevant industry experience e.g. previous Supervisor experience, POS systems experience, Lotto experience
  • Managers and First Aid Certificates would be advantageous
  • A great attitude and desire to make the workplace fun- for customers and team members!
  • The ability to develop supportive relationships and communicate effectively with team members, customers and colleagues
  • Self- motivated, loyal and a high level of integrity

This position is full-time from Tuesday-Saturday with hours to be discussed during the interview process.

You must have the legal right to work in New Zealand – with citizenship, residency or approved work visa.
