Service Delicatessen Manager - New World Rangiora

Commencing January 2019

An excellent opportunity is now available for someone with self-motivation and drive to fill the above position in our busy Supermarket. The ideal candidate will have previous Management experience within a Service Deli Department.

This key position requires excellent Management and organisational skills. Superior leadership skills with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels, knowledge of SAP preferred, but not essential. Previous Food preparation experience is a must. Preferably holds current Unit Standards 167 & 20666, is passionate about food and driven to achieve sales targets.

• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to lead and work effectively in a team environment
• Proven knowledge of Food Safety requirements in a fresh food environment
• Sound business judgement with the ability to achieve budgets and margins through effective buying and Management
• Expected to work towards and maintain KPI targets
• Maintaining the daily SAP reporting disciplines
• Proven interpersonal skills, experience with staff disciplinary issues, staff training and Health and Safety requirements
• Maintain and “raise the bar” providing a high level of customer service.
• Attention to detail
• Effective ultilisation of  the department personnel resources
• Flexibility in relation to the ever-changing retail environment
