Service Deli Assistant - New World Northwood


New World Northwood is a large, modern supermarket situated in the ever growing northern suburbs of Christchurch.

We now have a part time position available for an experienced service deli assistant, whose job it will be to help provide our customers with excellent service, while cooking and preparing a great offering of service deli products in a clean and tidy environment.

Days and hours of work will be Sunday and Monday, 7.30am-4pm.

This position requires day work during the week, so may not be suitable for people at school.

The successful applicant(s) will:

  • Be reliable, organised and have the ability to work independently

  • Have good communication and teamwork skills

  • Have the ability to multi-task

  • Have customer service at the forefront of their minds at all times

  • Have a sound understanding of food safety standards

  • Have previous experience preparing cabinet-style food
