SAP Inventory Manager - PAK'nSAVE Dunedin

We are seeking a person to manage our inventory across the whole store.  This role will include being responsible for working with department managers to ensure inventory is being managed on an optimal basis to aide better business decision making. 

The role will report directly to the Grocery Operations Manager.   

Are you an aspiring senior grocery / dairy buyer or manager within the supermarket industry looking for the next step, or maybe someone with inventory management experience?

It would be a great advantage for the successful applicant to have experience with an inventory management system and advanced buying skills.

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate the following attributes:

  • Communication and interpersonal skills

  • Analytical and problem solving skills

  • Excellent knowledge of computer systems

  • Developed organisational skills

  • Ensuring information reported is reliable and accurate

Key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Regular, accurate and consistent reporting and analysis of inventory

  • Providing management reports to department managers and the store owner

  • Adding value to business decisions across all aspects of inventory purchasing

  • Execution of cyclical stocktake programme

  • Facilitating staff training
