Grocery Supervisor/Storeperson - New World Lincoln

We are seeking a person who can assist our Grocery Team 2 nights supervising and 2 days storeperson shifts

The successful applicant will preferably have knowledge of the grocery industry, having worked in a supermarket environment and able to demonstrate the following attributes:

• Good computer skills – ability to pick up programs with ease
• Ability to learn fast

In this role you be directly reporting to the Grocery Manager.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assist the Grocery Manager in the filling of grocery lines and running of the store room
• The receipting of all goods entering the store through our SAP inventory control system
• Ability to achieve targets
• Organize + Co-ordinate grocery team in putting out delivery and working overstock
• Keeping the grocery department full and well presented
• Maintaining a high standard of merchandising.
• Maintaining of our Health & Safety and Food Safety Standards.
• Able to drive a forklift or willing to learn.

You will be required to work one weekend day a week.

Lincoln is a small rural university town approximately 20 minutes from the Centre of Christchurch.
