Duty Manager/Cashier/Checkout Supervisor - PAK'nSAVE Riccarton
We are seeking an individual who will have commitment to excellence and strong organisational and communication skills to take on this multi skilled role.
The Duty Manager is critical to the successful operation of our business and is about ensuring we have the same high standards and support for our team at all times. In the absence of senior management, the Duty Manager has full responsibility for the store. To supplement this as a full time position, you will also be required to supervise at the checkout and work as a cashier the rest of the time.
The successful applicant will need to be flexible with hours – your days off are Tuesday and Sunday. The working days are mixed but can start at 7am and some shifts finish at 11:15pm. Details of the hours will be discussed at the interview.
To fill this role you must have a Manager’s Licence, first aid certificate, cash handling experience of a teller, and have worked on a checkout at a busy supermarket, and know how to roster and sort out any issues with staff and customers.
