Bakery Assistant Manager - New World Northwood

We require an enthusiastic and passionate person to join our team in the role of Bakery Assistant Manager.  The successful person should be capable of assisting the Manager with planning, organising, leading and controlling the daily operations of our Bakery Department. This is an outstanding opportunity to help lead a dedicated team in a successful supermarket and would suit someone who is ready to progress their career to the next level.

 Key responsibilities include:

• Producing a range of consistently high quality products to meet demand
• Assisting the Manager to ensure efficient use and management of the Bakery team.
• Ability to achieve targets and meet budgets.
• Control of stock and waste through good production planning
• Maintaining a high standard of merchandising.
• Training and monitoring staff performance in conjunction with the Manager
• The implementation of Health & Safety and Food Safety Standards

Days of work will be discussed at the interview.  Some weekend work will be required.
